The Beauty Royale Origin Story
Sharing what I’ve learned about 4C hair and my journey with hair care.

My Hair Journey
Back in high school, my go-to look was the pineapple style with a bandana, so much so that someone even tried to nickname me “Bandana” (thankfully, it didn’t stick). In college, I began experimenting with wigs, braids, and twists, but daily maintenance still felt overwhelming. After graduation, I leaned on salon visits to help me keep up. Eventually, I decided to loc my hair and start that journey for myself.
Now, I’m in a place where I know more than I did back then, but I wouldn’t call myself a hair guru either. I’m still learning, still experimenting, just like many of you.
Why Beauty Royale Exists
I created Beauty Royale as a curated space for natural hair care. Here, you’ll find tutorials, guides, and resources gathered to make the process of learning a little less overwhelming. My goal isn’t to give professional advice, but to share what I’ve found so you have a starting point, inspiration, and reliable info in one place.
What began as a personal project to sharpen my web design and development skills quickly became something more meaningful. As someone who has struggled with hair care, and as a mom teaching my daughter to love and care for her natural hair, this project grew into a space I hope can support others too.
A Note of Transparency
Beauty Royale isn’t about perfection or one-size-fits-all answers. Natural hair care is personal, and not every product, routine, or style will work the same for everyone. Think of this site as a curated hair hub, it’s a place to explore and learn more about natural hair together. If you ever notice misinformation, please don’t hesitate to reach out andf let me know through the Contact page.
